Chris Brogan
Chris Brogan is President of New Marketing Labs, a new media marketing agency, and home of the Inbound Marketing Summit conferences and Inbound Marketing Bootcamp educational events. He works with large and mid-sized companies to improve online business communications like marketing and PR through the use of social software, community platforms, and other emerging web and mobile technologies. Chris is co-author of the book Trust Agents, with Julien Smith. Chris Brogan is a ten year veteran of using social media and both web and mobile technologies to build digital relationships for businesses, organizations, and individuals. Chris speaks, blogs, writes articles, and makes media of all kinds at [chrisbrogan.com], a blog in the top 10 of the Advertising Age Power150, and in the top 100 on Technorati. He is co-author of the book Trust Agents. Chris is also the cofounder of the PodCamp new media conference series, exploring the use of new media community tools to extend and build value. He recently became president of New Marketing Labs, a social media agency. He runs the Inbound Marketing Summit events with CrossTech Media. Chris frequently speaks at and attends marketing and social media events, sharing his passion for all things social media.
Chris won the Mass High Tech All Stars award for thought leaders for 2008. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, US News & World Report, The Montreal Gazette, Newsweek, and some other places.
Prior to these roles in the media and events space, Chris had over 16 years of telecommunications experience in wireless and landline technologies, including enterprise software and hardware experience, project management expertise, and applications/solutions engineering experience, as well.
Jeffrey Hayzlett
Jeffrey Hayzlett serves as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company, reporting to Kodak Chairman and CEO Antonio M. Perez. As CMO, Mr. Hayzlett is responsible for the company’s worldwide marketing operations including the design and implementation of all marketing strategies, investments, policies, and processes. He leads the company’s efforts for Strategy and Planning, Marketing Programs, Marketing Network Operations, Brand Development and Management, Business Development, and Corporate Sponsorships. He is also responsible for the company’s Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Public Affairs organizations. Kodak’s Board of Directors elected him a corporate vice president in October 2007.
Mr. Hayzlett speaks frequently around the world on business growth, communications, and marketing, including keynotes at events such as The Economist Marketing Summit, THE Conference on Marketing, the 140 Character Twitter Conference, CMO Summits, Mobile Marketing Forum, Digital Life Design Conference, Photo Marketing Association Conference, Direct Marketing Association Leadership Forum, and National Postal Forum. He has received numerous global marketing and business awards and honors, including the Frost & Sullivan Lifetime Achievement Award for marketing. In 2008, Mr. Hayzlett was inducted into the College of Business Administration Direct Marketers Hall of Fame. In June 2009, he was awarded the prestigious “G.D. Crain Jr. Award for Marketing Excellence” and inducted into the BMA Hall of Fame at the Business Marketing Association’s annual conference. Previously, the U.S. Small Business Association named him “Entrepreneur of the Year.”
In the graphic arts industry, Mr. Hayzlett has been honored as the International Business Person of the Year Award by the International Printers’ Network (IPN); received The British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) Honorary Life Member award; was given the National Association of Quick Printing (NAQP) Industry Award of Distinction; and most recently was awarded the prestigious Earl I. Sundeen Award from the International Graphic Arts Education Association (IGAEA).
Mr. Hayzlett currently sits on the Business Marketing Association (BMA) board of directors and is a past chairman of BMA. He is a member of the advisory board of the CMO Council, chairman of the Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) Foundation for Marketing Education, a permanent trustee of the SMEI Academy of Achievement Sales and Marketing Hall of Fame, and a two-term past chairman of SMEI. He serves on Sales & Marketing Management Magazine’s 2009 Editorial Advisory Board. Mr. Hayzlett remains a trustee of Pi Sigma Epsilon National Education Foundation, an international sales and marketing fraternity.
Mr. Hayzlett has nearly 25 years of international marketing, sales, and customer relations management experience. He joined Kodak in April 2006 as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of the Graphic Communications Group (GCG). In this role, he was responsible for leading all marketing activities for the business, including product positioning, segment marketing, branding, marketing communications, customer development, business research, marketing strategy, and business development activity. He became Chief Business Development Officer in September 2007 and was responsible for Brand Development and Management, Market Development, Corporate and Product Public Relations, Communications and Public Affairs, Corporate Sponsorships, Business Development, Corporate Relationships and Partnerships, and Marketing.
Prior to joining Kodak, he led a private business development and public relations firm specializing in the technology and visual communications industries. He also held senior management positions in strategic business development and marketing at several companies, including Cenveo, Webprint, and Colorbus, Inc., and served in staff positions in the United States Senate and House of Representatives.
Aaron C. Newman
Aaron C. Newman was the Founder and President of Techrigy, Inc, until the summer of 2009 when Techrigy was acquired by Alterian, PLC. Newman was responsible for leading the organization and defining the company’s overall vision.
Newman is a serial entrepreneur having previously founded two other successful startups, DbSecure and Application Security, Inc. Over the past decade, Newman has been widely regarded as one of the world’s leading database experts. Newman is the author of Enterprise 2.0, printed by McGraw-Hill, and the Oracle Security Handbook, printed by Oracle Press, and is an international speaker on technology topics. Aaron has also authored several patents in database security and social media.
At Application Security, Inc. (www.appsecinc.com), Newman continues to sit on the board and provides strategic direction for the company. Over the past five years, Newman has built a best-in-breed management team and has grown AppSecInc to more than 1,000 enterprise customers and 100 employees. Prior to AppSecInc, Newman founded DbSecure, Inc. where he played the role of both CEO and CTO. He led the acquisition of DbSecure by the publicly-traded company Internet Security Systems (ISSX) in 1998. After this acquisition, Newman managed the development of database security solutions at ISS. Newman has held several other technology positions at Price Waterhouse, Bankers Trust, and as an independent IT consultant. Newman proudly served in the U.S. Army during the First Gulf War.
Ana Roca Castro
Ana Roca Castro uses her 14 years of project management experience to help businesses and organizations achieve their objectives via “state of the art” social media development. Her professional experience beginning at Columbia University, and outward to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the UN, gives her a unique and qualified perspective to combine with acute social networking expertise. After implementing Oracle HRMS for the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, Ana decided to take on the new challenge by starting her own development company.
AnaRC & her team started Premier Social Media in 2007 with the development of a safe Social Networking site for diplomats and ambassadors. In the last two years, she has developed 2 internal Social Networks, over 20 Facebook/My Space applications, 12 iPhone apps and more than a dozen 3D Buildings at Google Earth. Some of her clients include Toshiba, Walmart, Fedex, the World Bank, Tipping Point Media and THER-RX corp. As a Social Media developer, she has now partnered with businesses and non-for-profit organizations to provide a series of development services through Social Media platforms. Ana also collaborates with PR/Marketing companies to serve their client portfolio’s needs within the Social Media realm.
AnaRC is a social entrepreneur and the co-founder of Latinos in Social Media (LATISM), the largest organization of Social Media professionals of Hispanic origin. Ana can also be seen hosting Twitter parties for her clients, speaking at Social Media events, and volunteering with Internet Safety awareness projects for schools and community organizations worldwide.
Eric Majchrzak
Eric Majchrzak is the marketing manager of Freed Maxick & Battaglia CPAs, one of Upstate NY’s Largest CPA firms. Eric is one of the accounting industry’s leading “in-house” practitioners of social media and search engine optimization. In 2005, he developed Freed Maxick’s inbound marketing system, which leverages social media in concert with search engine optimization to generate hundreds of qualified leads each year with resulting revenues in the millions. In 2006, he was honored nationally as the accounting industry’s “Rookie Marketer of the Year,” by the national Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), where he currently serves as a Board member. He is a past Chairman of AAM’s website committee. Eric was published in the CPA Practice Management Forum on the topic of internet marketing and has been profiled in several other industry trades. Overall, he has 18 years of marketing and sales experience spanning the media, financial and professional services sectors. Eric graduated from the State University College at Buffalo in 1991.
Nicole Black
Nicole Black is of counsel to Fiandach and Fiandach, in Rochester, New York. Her law practice is currently limited to the defense of Driving While Intoxicated matters.
She co-authors Criminal Law in New York, a West-Thomson treatise. She also writes a weekly column for the Daily Record focusing on a variety of topics, including constitutional and criminal law issues and law and technology issues ranging from the use of social media for marketing and networking to using emerging technologies in the law office.
She has authored numerous articles and spoken at many conferences regarding the intersection of law, technology and social media.
She is also the founder of lawtechTalk.com, a company which educates lawyers regarding technology issues and provides legal technology consulting services. She publishes four legal blogs, including “Practicing Law in the 21st Century” and is a contributing blogger at Lawyerist.com.
Luis A. Martínez
Luis A. Martínez has been successfully coaching and advising employees, peers and executives since 1983. In 2008 Luis formed a strategic management consulting firm, Gran Altura, LLC. The design of this client-focused firm allows Luis to effectively serve the many individuals and businesses that benefit from his skills, insight and experience. As Managing Principal, Luis offers his valuable services and talents to organizations in transition as well as to individuals who want to achieve higher levels of performance.
Prior to establishing Gran Altura, Luis was employed in top level positions in multinational manufacturing, healthcare and business consulting. In Xerox, Luis directed a global human resources team for Worldwide Manufacturing with facilities in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia. Prior to Xerox, Luis was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Previous designations and assignments for Luis also include Vice President and General Manager of Exide Batteries in Puerto Rico, where his business acumen led the successful turn-around of a manufacturing / sales / service division. He was also Director of Human Resources at Exide Technologies, Manager at The Hay Group, and Field Supervisor in the Federal Government.
Luis’ formal education includes a B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Delaware. He has further earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). Bilingual and bicultural in Spanish, Luis is a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership. His comprehensive career development book, Getting There, was recently published by a division of Random House and is receiving highest reviews in Amazon.com.
Born and raised in Cuba, Luis was sent to the United States at the age of 12 by his parents to avoid his conscription into Fidel Castro’s militia. He learned to speak English in 7th grade, and after his parents arrived in Miami, Luis attended 6 schools in 5 years, while his parents moved through three states in search of better jobs and with the determination to improve their lives. Luis observed his parents, Jose Luis and Zoila, as they managed through crises – a story of courage and survival. Luis credits their tutelage for his boundless faith and optimism. An avid sports car racer, triathlete, Kung Fu practitioner and writer, Luis makes his home with his family in Pittsford, near Rochester, New York.
Kevin Flynn
Kevin Flynn is a partner at Martino Flynn Advertising and Public Relations. Aside from his duties as partner, Kevin also services accounts and supervises the media and administrative functions of the agency. He divides his time by devoting 30% on managing the company, 20% on business development and 50% on strategic planning for existing clients.
Kevin has been in the Agency business since 1981 and has worked on dozens of retail, consumer and business-to-business accounts, including: the Buffalo Bills, Choice One Communications, Dick’s Sporting Goods, MetLife Bank, Sneaker Stadium, Xerox, Eastman Kodak, CooperVision, Canandaigua National Bank.
Kevin went to Cornell University where he studied Environmental Education and later obtained his MS in Communications. Kevin is also an instrument-rated private pilot and enjoys golf and mountaineering. In fact, Kevin is in an elite club called the “Seven Summits” – he has climbed the highest peak on each continent including Mount Everest.
Ray Martino
Ray Martino is one of three partners that make up Martino Flynn, LLC, a full service advertising, PR, and digital media agency located in Upstate New York. At Martino Flynn, Ray heads the Administrative Group and the PR team for the agency.
A graduate of St. John Fisher College with a B.A. degree in economics and Syracuse University with a M.S. degree in public communications, Ray has 37 years’ experience in public relations and marketing communications. He spent 14 years in higher education administration and teaching before joining the agency world.
Ray is active in professional and community organizations, including: Public Relations Society of America-Rochester Chapter, American Association of Advertising Agencies (Regional Board Member), The Country Club of Rochester (Member, Board of Stewards), Sojourner House (Board Member), and Rochester Press-Radio Club. He formerly was a member of the Board of Trustees at WXXI Public Broadcasting, and served as President of the Small Business Council of the Rochester Business Alliance.
In 2007, Ray was the recipient of the PRSA-Rochester Chapter’s Sharleen M. Bruse Award. The Bruse Award is given to a PRSA member who epitomizes the integrity and professionalism of a public relations practitioner. Recipients are also very involved in community service and routinely help advance the career development of other chapter members.

Jennifer Cisney, Chief Blogger and Social Media Manager, has been with Eastman Kodak for eleven years, resulting a broad knowledge of the various businesses and in depth experience with the corporate website, kodak.com.
Her contributions to Kodak’s online experience have been inspirational photography, design expertise and creative content. She helped create and now manages the corporate blogs. After launching Kodak’s social media initiatives, she oversees Kodak’s presence on social media sites Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Flickr.
Jennifer has been a speaker at such social media conferences as BlogWorld, BlogHer, Marketing to Women and The Inbound Marketing Summit. Jennifer was also recognized as one of Advertising Age’s 2009 Women to Watch.

Juli Klie is the President of Veritor, LLC, a management consulting firm that helps technology companies bring new products to market. Juli’s clients talk about the insights she brings to their marketing strategies and the way she rolls up her sleeves and works as a partner that make things happen from strategic planning to operations improvements to market launch.
Juli was previously Vice President at the international software company, Xelus, but many of us know her as co-founder and past board member of Digital Rochester, a not-for-profit association of over 5,000 technology professionals in the Rochester region that provides monthly networking, educational and entrepreneurial events. Active in our community, Juli has served on the Board of Directors of our regional economic development organization, the Greater Rochester Enterprise and currently serves on the boards of three local technology companies. She is a member of the Dean’s Council for the Golisano College of Computing & Information Sciences at RIT and a long time member of the Industry Advisory Boards for the Computer Science and IT Departments there.
Juli was named the Greater Rochester IT Woman of the Year in 2002 and was named the 2003 Distinguished Alumnus for RIT’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, where she earned her degree in Computer Science. Her interest in social media grew out of a convergence of moments in her personal, professional and volunteer lives that left her fascinated by the ability to engage in meaningful conversations in a community without geographic boundaries.

Donna DeClemente is the principal founder and President of DDC Marketing. Donna has a diverse background in developing and implementing marketing communications campaigns.
Donna launched DDC Marketing Group in 2005 which at the time specialized in online promotional marketing solutions. Since then she has expanded the company’s services to include social media, search and mobile marketing… all which help drive website traffic, generate sales leads and create brand awareness.
Donna joined the social media world in early 2007 when she launched her own blog, Donna’s Promo Talk, which is written for marketers to help keep them up to date on the interactive promotions, especially those that integrate social media. She is also one of five women contributing bloggers on Lip-Sticking, a popular blog about marketing to women online, and is part of the team behind the launch of The Lip-sticking Society. Donna currently is the Rochester Social Media Marketing columnist for the Examiner.com.
Donna is also a board member and VP of Communciations for RAMA (Rochester Chapter of the American Marketing Association). You can also find her posts on RAMA’s website, their Facebook page and LinkedIn Group. Donna has been an active member of the marketing committee for the RWN, Rochester Women’s Network, and editor of their e-newsletter.
Donna has presented on social media and internet marketing to various groups such as the RWN, the University of Rochester’s Simon School and the RAMA. She has been a guest blogger for several years for PMA, Association of Integrated Marketing, as well as for Search Engine Strategies.
