Chris Brogan and Jeffrey Hayzlett are among the presenters at upstate New York’s premier social media conference for mid- to large-size businesses

Rochester, N.Y., October 28, 2009—Some of the biggest names in social media will be in Rochester on Wednesday, November 11, for Social Media Today (SM2Day)—the first conference of its kind to be held in upstate New York. The keynote speaker will be Chris Brogan, a ten-year veteran of using social media and both web and mobile technologies. He will be joined by other prominent experts in the field in discussing social media marketing tools and strategies for mid- to large-size businesses. SM2Day will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Memorial Art Gallery, located at 500 University Avenue in Rochester.

SM2Day aims to educate and inform marketing professionals, senior executives, business owners, and advertisers about the evolving marketing and communications landscape—providing them with the tools they need to start a social media strategy or improve the one they have. Presentation topics will focus on social media for business, branding, development, measuring return on investment (ROI), legal policy, and corporate blogging, among others. The conference will also feature case studies from Kodak and Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs
